Cenk Kinay-Founder

Born in Agri in 1968,Cenk Kinaymoved to Vienna, Austria, for further education after graduating from high school. He then got involved in the newlyestablished Tour Operator, GuletTouristik, which was founded by Dr. CemKinay and Mag. OguzSerim,in 1987.

In1990, GuletTouristik introduced the "all-inclusive hotel" concept to the Austrian market, and branded the company "Magic Life." Magic Life club villages opened first in Turkey, followed by Greece, Tunisia, Egypt, Bulgaria, Austria, Spain, Mexico and the Caribbean.

By 1996, GuletTouristik had become the leading charter tour operator in Europe.

In 1997, GuletTouristikincorporated one of Europe's major tour operators "Touropa", forming GuletTouropaTouristik, and later signed a cooperation agreement with the German travel giant and tour operator TUI.

During his job inTour Operation Management, he was mainly responsible for thedevelopment, sales, flight planning, capacity management, and yield management. The capacities were almost over 50% of the Austrian market, around 650 thousand guests with a sum of 300 million Euros turnover yearly. In 2001, after an activelife in the Tour Operator business, Cenk Kinay ended his work in the company and transferredtoMagic Life International. There hetook the lead as theDirector of Project Developments. He was responsible forthe development of MagicLife International in new destinations, namely Spain, Greece and Egypt. During this period, he acquired 30 propertieswithintwoyears. In 2003, Cenk Kinaytook over a new responsibility in Turkey as the Director of Division of Turkey with full operational responsibilities of 3000 employees, and 7000 beds. In 2005, he ended his career in Magic Life International.

In less than ten years, the small enterprise turned into a world-famous European vacation company empire, which includes 23 hotels, 22,000 beds, 6,000 employees, and accommodation ofover 500,000 guests per year. Consequently, it becameEurope's most popular all-inclusive club.

Moreover, throughout its history of 15 years, GuletTouristikhas provided tours to more than 6,000,000 vacationers.

In 2006,Cenk Kinay and his partners established a new company in the Hospitality Services.

In 2007, This new company opened its first international five-starhotel in Istanbul, named as Sheraton İstanbul Maslak, which includes305 rooms, three restaurants, 19 ball / meeting rooms, and a 3.500 sqmSpa.

In 2007, Cenk Kinay and his partnersestablished a company and started to offer Hospitality Consulting Services for hotel investors. They signed a management agreement with Princess International Group to finish their five-star hotel project in Minsk-Belarus.

The first international hotel chain in Belarus, the Crown Plaza Minsk, whichopened on behalf of Princess Group, was put into service in 2008. It includes 115 rooms, 3 restaurants, bars, a night club, and a Spa.

Cenk Kinayalso opened a boutique hotel with a capacity of 24 rooms in Manuel Antonio/Costa Rica in 2010.

In 2012, Cenk Kinay and his partners created two new companies, Gezenay and Seraco, to manage four and five-star hotel and resort propertiesin Turkey's major cities and other cities with high growing potential. The partner company has a significant amount of experience in construction, real estate investments and the service industry. Seraco has leased the first building in Istanbul at the ShoppingMall Marmara Forum Merterfor 30 years. The company is currently planning to convert this new building into a five-star hotel in 2014. In 2012, Gezenay signed a Non-Exclusive Development Agreement with the Wyndham Hotel Group, the largest hotel group in the world, for investments in Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Macedonia, Bulgaria, and Belarus. This agreement will pave the way for 30 hotels in the following years.

In 2012, Gezenay affiliated with Turkish Franchise Association "UFRAD" and franchise hotel brands such as Days Hotel, Days Inn, Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham, Try by Wyndham. Gezenay is also managing a 62-room boutique hotel, L1 Hotel, in Sultanahmet since January 2013. The hotel will be rebranded as TRYP by Wyndham Hotel Hagia Sophia in September 2013. In the same year, Gezenay founded the "Tourism and Gastronomy Academy" together with Istanbul Aydin University. The academy trains students in the fields of tourism, restaurant & bar service, and kitchen

In 2013, Cenk Kinayestablished "Premium Destinations" in cooperation with Travelium as a destination management company to offer luxury tour packages for Turkish travelers who wish to go to the US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.

Premium Destinations is a member of the United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA) and American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA).
